The trees are nurtured,
Animals are worshipped
And the earth is protected,
But life is of no value.
Arguments rage on about preservation of life,
But of whose life?
The lives of trees, plants and animals of course.
Don't kill the whales;
Stop murdering the baby seals;
Recycle to save our trees;
These things we cherish,
These things we fight for,
But life is not preserved.
When will the killing stop?
Of whom?
The trees, plants and animals?
After all, this is what were concerned with,
Yet life holds no value to us.
How can you say that when we fight for the value of life every day?
Whose life?
The lives of the trees, plants, and animals of course!
Of course.
Tell me then who fights for true life?
True life?
What value does life hold?
Tell me, do you have any children?
NO! You
don't. . .because
you had it removed.
Tell me, is that upholding the value of life?
I think not.
