To Dream, To Live, To Become

By Brant W. Fowler

Dream.

A dream is a vision; a fantasy; an aspiration.

Dreams contain our goals, our passions and our desires.

Dreams are what we would be or where we would go if we weren’t who or where we are.

Dreams are an escape from the cruel reality we face.

A refuge we run to when we are sad, hurt or afraid.

Dreams are the realities we wish for; hope for.

They are the things we would do and accomplish if given the tools and opportunity.

Dreams are our love and passion.

They are what make us get out of bed in the morning.

They are our motivation throughout the day.

Dreams are what keep us alive.

Alive.

To live is to dream.

To live is to be awake and aware physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally.

To live is to experience happiness, sorrow, pain and anger.

To truly live is to follow your heart.

And your heart is filled with your dreams.

To be alive is to live.

To be alive is to live out your dreams.

To aspire toward them every day.

To take steps towards bringing them to life.

Only by dreaming can we truly live.

And only by living our dreams can we truly become.

Become.

To become is to live.

To become we must dream or there is nothing to become.

To become is to strive for what we dream of.

And when we begin living what we dream of then we become.

We become that which we long to be.

We become the essence of our dreams.

To dream is to live, is to become.

To dream, to live, to become.
