The Big 2-0-0

Well, here we are. The 200th post!

I wanted to do something special for it, but nothing of special importance was going on, so you'll have to deal with what you get.

Let's start with some good news. It appears officially after the veto votes that The Kansas Hit is definitely in Round 3! The final judge finally commented and had nothing but good things to say about it. So yay us!

Warbreed also appears to be safe, so yay for us as well!

I have also jumped on the myspace bandwagon and created my own. You can check it out by clicking the post title! It's still under construction and all that, but there's plenty to read to start with. Like I need something else to update!

I am nearly completely caught up on all the lettering work I had been backed up on. I still have a couple of shorts for Approbation Comics, but then I'm free and clear until the next one starts rolling in.

Speaking of lettering, Cary suggested I use my other blog to showcase my lettering. I may very well do that, so stay tuned.

I've also been helping out here and there and everywhere. I am helping Ronin Studios with their forums and site, the SPA/Dimestore with their new site design, and I'm creating logos for a few people.

Scryptic Studios has kind of slowed down, and my latest assignment hasn't been too fruitful in the results department unfortunately. I love the site and I hope it thrives.

Within the next 4 days my entry into the latest draw-off at Digital Webbing will be up. The task is to draw ourself facing Superman. It also has to be hand colored! I have a hilarious concept in mind I think, so keep a lookout for that.

Wannabez revisions for issue one are finally complete! Thanks to Cary Kelley for helping me line out the last few pages. I think you all are going to love this when it's all said and done.

I made a bit of progress on my website the other night, then decided I didn't like part of what I started way back, so I'm scrapping part of it and redoing it. Sigh. My goal is to have it up and running by June 1st. Why? No particular reason, it just gives me a definite date to shoot for.

Lost was a touching and enlightening episode this past week. Invasion was intense as well.

Chris Daughtry, one of my favorites for the finals, was eliminated Wednesday from American Idol, and the next day was offered the lead singer spot in the band Fuel. He hasn't accepted yet, but that's pretty cool.

Wrestling (TNA and WWE) has been pretty boring lately, and tonight's Smackdown doesn't sound much better.

Tonight's the season finale of Las Vegas, a show I catch once in a while.

A friend of mine, Carissa, is getting married on June 19th last I heard. She'll be 21 in July.

A couple of kids who used to be in my Sunday School class are graduating high school this month.

My Mom goes into surgery for her knee I believe June 6th.

I've given up the podcasts for a while. For one, they were taking up too much space on my server. For two, they weren't very good. And for three, I don't think many people downloaded them anyway. Maybe when I have a lot more to say and learn a bit more about making good ones I'll revisit the idea.

Anyway, that about does it for me. Deal or No Deal is on, and I really enjoy that show. Wrestling's late tonight due to a baseball game. Sigh.

B-Out
