Twisted Gate

I just got some great news! Several weeks ago I was asked to write a couple of short horror stories based on mythical creatures for Twisted Gate Entertainment. I wrote the two 3-pagers, sent them in and waited.

Several weeks went by with no word. So finally this morning I decided to email and check up to see if they were accepted. Turns out Ray (from Twisted Gate) had sent me a long email about them weeks ago, but I never received it.

Long story short, both stories got accepted! And not only that, but one of them already has completed art, and the other one is being worked on!

Depending on when this book comes out in comparison to the Ronin Studios Fantasy Anthology, these two stories could possibly be my very first officially published comic writing.

So I'm a little excited.

Who am I kidding? I'm a LOT excited!

It was wild because I'm not generally a horror fan, and I definitely didn't think it was my forte when it came to writing. But once I actually started on the research ideas started hitting me and the whole process flowed on both of them. I am very pleased with how the scripts turned out and I can't wait to see the art.
