Oh Happy Day!

Today is my birthday! Yep, I'm 29. One more year and I am no longer in my twenties. :( But alas, I still have one year to live it up!

Thanks to all who have extended birthday wishes, I had a great one. The only presents I got were pizza and a handful of comics (Infinite Crisis 4-5, and a few other DC and Marvel books), but they were worth it. They tried to find the first season of Lost for me, but everyone was either sold out or only had widescreen. I'd prefer full screen, and for $50 they thought they'd wait too!

So all in all it was a decent birthday. It's funny, I haven't been to my regular shop except once since I moved to a new city 30 minutes away, but they still remembered me when Mom mentioned my name to them. In a year and a half they still had my file and had only put everything back on the shelf two days prior! That's a loyal shop!

It's funny, I used to work at Charter Ridge and they remember me coming in and telling them stories. lol. I was legally not able to say much, so I only alluded to things, but they got the picture.

It's just good to know they weren't upset about holding my books for so long and really remembered me, which is cool.

Speaking of comics, I sent off my entry to the SPA Idol contest officially today. I'll post here once they put a link up.

I mentioned last post that I goofed. What had happened was I thought this post was going to be my 150th post, but it was last post. Oh well.

There was also some other news I was hoping I could share, but it hasn't happened yet, so I'll hold off on that for now.

I was going to have my second official podcast with music and everything, but time got in the way.

I was also going to talk about a lot more, but again, time and company prevailed.

Later tonight I'll put up an early sketch of the character from my entry. Right now company just left, American Idol is about to come on, and the fan on my computer (which I just somewhat cleaned out) is making racket, so it's time for standby!

B-Out

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You only have one more year until you have to "grow up" ... It didn't work for me though, so I don't recommend that you try it :D
